Information Circular No 16/2021 – BUILDING MOMENTUM BALLOT OF MEMBERS

PDFORRA has today commenced the process of balloting our members on the new national pay agreement- Building Momentum. This new agreement is scheduled to last until the 1st of January 2023. Ballots should be returned to HQ NLT 17th of September 2021. The principal pay recommendations in the agreement are:

• 1st October 2021: A general round increase worth 1% of Basic pay or €500 a year, whichever is the greater, will be applied. This measure will see the vast majority of enlisted personnel receive an increase of 500 Euro in basic pay in Oct 2021. The Department have confirmed that 1% will be applied to other applicable allowances also.

 • 1st February 2022: There is an allocation of 1% to a Sectoral Bargaining Fund to be allocated to our members. PDFORRA has calculated a 1% increase in Basic pay and MSA and Technician Pay at the end of this document to give an indicative increase for personnel.

 • 1st October 2022: A second general round increase worth 1% of gross pay or €500 a year, whichever is the greater. Additionally, members will receive 1% on applicable allowances. This measure will see all enlisted personnel receive at least 500 Euro in Oct 2022.

The following chart shows indicative increases to Pay & MSA if our members vote to accept the Agreement:

Increases provided for under the Technician 2-6 Review are in addition to the changes above.
