As part of PDFORRA’s continued commitment to keep our members updated on all developments and resources which may assist if you find yourself in financial difficulties; The National Support Officer and his committee have identified the following website http://www.keepingyourhome.ie/ as being an invaluable tool at this time of unprecedented financial hardship.  At the end of 2009 the Citizens Information Board (CIB) and Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) decided that due to the rising amount of Mortgage Arrears that a Web-Site should be developed. In March 2010 the Web-Site http://www.keepingyourhome.ie/ was formally launched.

This Web-Site contains excellent advice about the entitlements and options for someone at risk of losing their home. The four main sections are:

  • Options if you lose your home
